Hi dr. My baby boy is 7 months old n i hv prepared homemade cerelac for him with dal n rice. I just wanna ask that can i add very little bit of salt or jaggery in it just to inhance the flavor. Bcoz i baby is eating only if i add jaggery into it... Is it safe.. I can use 1 teaspoot jaggery once a day.. Please suggest

There is no problem with 1teaspoonfull jaggery once a day. Limit daily sugar and salt intake.
It is good u r giving home made cerelac to your baby andvkeep it up.

But it should be in limits(small quantities)
According to barker hypothesis it is better to avoid salts and sugar till 1 yr of age
