Generally heart beat varies as normal response it is never fixed at particular number, in adult normal range is 60-100 beats per min. so with fetus it varies with gestational age and can vary from 140 to 160 beats/ min. But if heart beat not showing any change is to keep continues watch and if heart dips better do delivery on time. Rest a obestretian doctor is expert to tell you the best for you and your baby, follow her advice
