In your case it may be a serious matter because you lost your job due to forgetfulness. At the age of 26 years we don't expect any age related problems like Alzheimer's Disease. It may be psychological and consultation with a Psychiatrist is required. Foods like Fish, green leafy vegetables, nuts (walnuts and almonds). Avoidance of alcohol and drugs. Keeping things in your house or at the place of work at the same time each day. Trying to learn new things everyday,  and practice them so that your mind is occupied all the time. As far as medicines are concerned you should have Multivitamin Multi-mineral Capsule, Vit B12, Vit D.
