My son is 16 years old and has autism. His communication is limited. He is in a self contained classroom. We are also giving therapies. Do you treat kids with autism and developmental delays.

I agree with the above opinion completely. However will also like to add that. It Is a time taking and continues process which requires entire family involved. Children with autism based on the severity will have to have a detailed evaluations, which will help for a proper planning.
Can make a list of the child's behavior, likes dislikes, his speech skills which is what he understands and what he speaks, his routines to the therapist, which will help therapists plan child's prognosis and also help to plan activities for u to do at home.

Hi. Children with Autism are mainly treated with lot of therapies namely behaviour therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy. Each therapy is tailor-made for each child. You need to see which areas your child is lacking and then decide which therapy is required for the child.
