Hello Doctor so my sister is hearing voices constantly talking about her, seeing flashes, Tired all the time, feeling like someone holding her since last 3 months and she is on medication for hyperthyroidism and is taking Neo Mercazole 5 is it because of the thyroid or something else and what should we do?

Hello The symptoms you have mentioned are suggestive of psychosis which needs immediate attention. If these symptoms began after starting neo-mercazole or after increasing its dose, then it could be related to it but if patient was on stable dose for a long period, then it could be due to other factors.
