Assymetrical face after Braces
After getting braces removed my teeth and face shape were normal but after a year I can notice that the right part of my face appears bigger than the left. Also it seems that lower jaw has shifted on left side. Can this be corrected? I wear retainers regularly at night.

More than 90 per cent of people have facial asymmetry. It is common and normal. It has been present since birth. Just that you have noticed it now. Dental extraction or dental braces cant cause facial asymmetry. Avoid self-diagnosing. Just visit your dentist for a follow-up checkup. This will help you know the progress. Hope this helped.

Before judging anything i think you should visit the orthodontist to know the underlying reason. If it is relapse of ortho treatment then it will be handled properly by the orthodontist.
