Ascoril D plus with MetXL 25mg
I am having itchy throat and irritation since morning. Doctor prescribed Ascoril D plus syrup for 5 days before bed.
Can I take Ascoril D plus syrup when I am on beta blockers?
I am on MetXL 25mg daily morning.

Yes you can take. Also you can gargle with warm salted water for the irritation part and some honitus tablets throughout the day

Yes you can take ,
but ascoril syrup is not preffered by me for these symptoms. As this causes sleepiness
Try
Tab.allegra 120 once daily in the evening
Tab. Pcm 500 once at night in the night

Taking ascoril d along with met- xl can increase your blood pressure. You need to monitor it.

There is no drug interaction per say btw the two drugs,however dont exceed 5ml per dose of your cough syrup at a time to avoid other side effects.
