Are braces reliable?
I'm considering getting braces and want to know whether the results are permanent or not. I'm worried that after the treatment my teeth may go back to the way they were before.

hello, consult an orthodontist and get it checked. orthodontic (braces) is the best and most conservative treatment. time taken for the treatment can vary from 1-2 years. after the treatment you have to wear retainers. don't worry and go for it.

It is a permanent solution.  In some cases a permanent retainer would be required to maintain the teeth in its new position.  It depends on type of case yours is and retainers will be according to that. Do not worry.  Just follow the instructions of your doctor and everything will be fine.
