How severe is the pain associated with the it. Clinically if the pain is minimal or almost nil you can wait but there is always a possibility of repeat attack in future.  So if there is pain, nausea, vomiting with or without fever it is better that you get admitted and undergo a laparoscopic surgery.  The surgery is done with very small key holes and accordingly pain is very less and the recovery ie pretty fast.
Next Steps
please visit a laparoscopic surgeon who would advice you to undergo the surgery
