Apla test and Heparin injection
Hi, I am pregnant with my second baby at 6 weeks. I had two miscarriages before my first child. Last week, I took an apla test and received a slightly positive result for beta2 glycoprotein igm, with a value of 21.1RU/ml (>=20RU/ml positive range). My doctor suggested taking heparin injections daily. I am already on ecosprin 75, system 300, and folic acid tablets. The doctor said these heparin injections are preventive only. However, the same situation occurred with my first child, but I was not taking the heparin injections at that time. Is it really necessary now? Please suggest.
