It's mostly a good thing to choose therapy.
Alternatively, you can read up on CBT techniques suggested to clients for healing from anxiety to help yourself in the short term and develop a deeper understanding of therapy and the methods applied.

Hi,
Yes you can try alternative ways. But if root cause remains in psychological issues then its better to consider therapy.
Are you having social anxiety or trust issues with people? Choose a long term solution approach than avoidance one.
Hi, Treatment of anxiety depending on the severity, root cause, personality traits etc.Consult a psychologist for psychological assessment.A professional help is always beneficial.
Hi
It will help to consult a psychologist. A psychologist has knowledge about symptoms, therapy, and lifestyle changes. In order to feel better you will have to explain in detail about what could be triggering anxiety. The common triggers are work stress, stress at home, eating habits (nutrient deficiency), consuming too much caffeine, and lack of sleep. A psychologist will have to know about your overall medical history to prescribe anxiety management techniques that will help you feel better. Based on what you mention a psychologist will ask you about your symptoms, relationship with family, and lifestyle.

Hi... It depends upon the cause and severity of symptoms. We all experience certain amount of anxiety in our daily lives and following a healthy routine in terms of proper and timely meals, sleep, exercise, and breathing/meditation, helps us keeping our body and mind in a positive state. Yoga exercises/practices are also found to be positive related to our mental and physical health and it can do wonders in addressing general day-to-day anxiety. But if the cause is more psychosocial or biological or genetic in nature or the symptoms are too severe and falling into the domain of a disorder than CBT and medications are found to be more effective. In such cases, consulting a Psychologist and a Psychiatrist is best.
Next Steps
Go ahead with Yoga Exercises/Practices for day-to-day anxiety issues.
Consult a Psychologist and a Psychiatrist if the symptoms are severe.
CBT along with Lifestyle Changes and Interpersonal Guidance and Counselling will work best.
