These are stress symptoms. Indigestion is a primary indicator of stress or any other mental health condition. Don't worry, consult a therapist here or anywhere you want to be.
But, psychotherapy/counseling is very much required for you.
Next Steps
Try to do at least two things of your choice in a day. Something which gives you pleasure.
Try breathing exercise before going to sleep and after waking up.
The burping, chest burning, heaviness, and ants-like sensation in your head are likely linked to anxiety and gastric sensitivity feeding into each other. Because of this, your sleep is disturbed, negative thoughts are increasing, and you are losing interest in daily activities like cooking and talking. This explains why you feel different from your earlier active self.
The doctor’s advice makes sense if your psychiatric/mental health issues (anxiety, panic, overthinking, low mood) are treated, your stomach symptoms will also improve. This doesn’t mean your stomach problems are imaginary; it means your mind is amplifying and worsening them. Many people experience this brain–gut cycle. With the right support (psychiatric medication if needed, therapy for anxiety and negative thoughts, and some dietary adjustments), you can regain your energy, enjoy food again, and feel like yourself.

Hi,
I understand how overwhelming this ifeels. The stomach distress, nonstop burps, chest burn, those can worsen with anxiety and panic (DSM-5: anxiety disorders, somatic symptom disorder). The ants-in-brain, heavy heart, racing thoughts, poor sleep, loss of joy. these point toward major depressive and generalized anxiety features. What this means: your body and mind are looping each other and pain fuels fear, fear fuels pain. It’s not weakness; it’s your system overloaded. You deserve both medical and psychiatric care together.

Health Tips
Slow the body first : when burps or chest burn start, pause, sit upright, hand on belly, breathe in 4, out 6. This calms both gut and mind.
Food journal : note what you eat, symptoms, and mood. Patterns help doctors and reduce fear of “everything hurts me.”
Thought check: when doubts flood, write them down, then gently ask: “is this fact or fear?”
