Your concern about the prescription of Placida for anxiety is understandable, especially since it is typically used for psychotic symptoms. However, medications like Placida can sometimes be used in lower doses to help manage anxiety and repetitive thoughts, depending on the specific symptoms and diagnosis. It's crucial to discuss your concerns with your doctor who can explain the rationale behind this choice based on your individual health needs and symptoms. Always ensure that you're comfortable with your treatment plan and fully informed about the medications you're taking.
