Regarding an X-ray: if you cannot put any weight on it or if there is a 'point' of intense bone pain, it’s best to get one. In the meantime, please follow the R.I.C.E. method (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) and avoid applying any heat.I have treated many such acute injuries successfully. Hello.
Do you observe any swelling and tenderness around you ankle and unable to move it . If yes then get an xray done to clear out any minor fracture.
If not then meds will be enough to heal your pain.
Hello
Iâm sorry to hear about your ankle injury. I understand it can be quite painful, especially when the pain increases while walking.
From your description less pain in the morning and more pain later it usually indicates a ligament strain or soft tissue injury due to twisting. This is quite common and in most cases not serious, but proper care is important.
What you should do immediately:
Rest â Try to avoid putting weight on the affected ankle
Ice application â Apply ice for 10â15 minutes, 3â4 times a day (very important in the first 1â2 days)
Compression â You can use a crepe bandage for support
Elevation â Keep your leg slightly raised while resting
For support (homeopathic medicines):
Arnica 30 â helps reduce pain and swelling
Ruta 30 â useful for ligament injury
Take 5 drops in a little water, 2â3 times daily for a few days.
Do you need an X-ray?
You may need an X-ray if:
You are unable to walk or bear weight
There is severe swelling or deformity
Pain is very intense
No improvement after 2â3 days
If you are able to walk (even with some pain), it is usually a sprain and can be managed conservatively.
Even minor ankle injuries should not be ignored, as improper healing can lead to recurrent pain or weakness later.
My suggestion
Start the above care today and monitor for 1â2 days.
If the pain persists or you want faster recovery and proper healing, I can guide you with a short consultation and treatment plan.

Well,
It appears to be an ankle sprain, where the ligaments around the ankle get stretched or injured. Pain often increases after a few hours, especially while walking.
For now, follow the R.I.C.E protocol:
Rest: Avoid putting weight on the affected ankle
Ice: Apply ice packs for 15–20 minutes, 3–4 times daily
Compression: Use an elastic crepe bandage to reduce swelling
Elevation: Keep the foot elevated while resting

It’s likely a sprained ankle. X-Ray is needed when you can’t bear the weight and if there is severe swelling . You can text me to tell you the precautions and if any medicine is required
