Ankle sprain
Few weeks back I got hurt on the bottom of my ankle after suddenly a stone came under my sandle. It was hurting and difficult to walk immediately but then I forgot about it and the only pain was when I used to wake up in the morning and find it extremely painful to keep my painful ankle on the ground . Even that I thought was occasional so ignored. Now recently my ankle started paining and I could not do my usual walk, so I had medicine and sprayed on it and slept. When I woke up there was pain in my ankle as if spray has initiated  the curbed pain. I am having my medicine and applying gel now but wanted to ask that yesterday I kept my foot in a bit cold water and it gave me relief, can I continue with cold treatment since I feel heat coming out some time maybe due to swelling. Please tell me should I consult orthopedic or physiotherapist for the same. Also can I continue with Cold treatment since it gives bit of relief?
