Hi, this is Dr Hitin Mathur, orthopaedic surgeon from Fortis C Doc Hospital, New Delhi. Welcome to Practo. As far as your ankle pain is concerned, it is important to clinically examine your ankle to find the pathology. Do you have any other joint pains? Sometimes low vitamin D or raised uric acid can cause ankle pain, so blood tests for those may need to be done. Losing weight if you are on the heavier side will also help.
