Angina vs Panic
What is the difference between Angina & Panic attacks? My mother had attacks thrice before COVID (During stress) wherein she felt sudden pain in chest that lasts for 15-20 minutes. ECG, ECHO ok Post COVID- sudden severe headache for minutes, dizziness, uncomfortable in chest and shortness of breath for minutes. BP 98/147 at that time. Happened 3 times in 3 days. NO BP Issues & not diabetic. Enclosed MRI and Full abdoment ultradound report. Please advice. Is it agina or panic attacks?

Both angina and panic attacks can be triggered by stress. She needs to be assessed by a cardiologist to rule out angina since all reports may be normal. Panic attacks will need management by a psychiatrist along with psychological counselling

MRI brain is normal for age, USG abdomen is also normal except a small lesion in uterus. ECG and echo is normal and BP comes in normal range too. You can go for stress cardiac test.
