Anal infection or colitis?
Dear doctor, exactly three weeks back I had anal pain for two continuous days ,later from that day I am getting stomach growling & motion sensation after my meal. Since that day I go motion 2-3 times in a day in normal shape and no blood found. Stool test and CPR was normal..ESR was 45mm.. Currently i am under medication with providac capsule. Now after 3 weeks of medication I'm getting mild itching sensation in anus and motion sensation has reduced, is it a sign I'm getting cured? It could be anal infection or colitis? Still I'm going motion 2times a day.

[ ] Hi, it seems you have developed fissure in ano. ( a cut in anal canal due to passage of hard stool). You need some good laxative to make stool soft do that it should not hurt the wounded area. Take isabgol husk in Luke warm water after dinner daily. You can try Triphala powder. There are certain ointment to relax the anal sphincter which helps in relieving pain and allows fissure to heal. Do sitz bath three times a day. Feel free to ask any further quary.
