Anal fissure
What is the real cause of anal fissure ??? It is due to small size anus because everyone gets hard stool at least one time in their lifetime but all people don't get anal fissure but I inspite of vegetarian  easily get anal fissure for  one time little hard stool why ??? LIS surgery done but still one time little hard stool due to side effect of antibiotics for fever caused anal fissure for me . There is no way from coming that as  I have nothing to do in diet modification as I am a vegetarian and know very well what I should avoid. ????

Hi.. anal fissure is very come.. lateral internal(anal) sphincterotomy is the treatment to it.. but a properly done fissurectomy is the cure for it... I haven't seen a recurrence in my patients.. get yourself examined and treatment from a properly trained surgeon

Hello welcome bro Non healing of previous fissure may cause recurrent fissure. Main causes are dehydration and strong anal sphincter and to some extent genetics. Surgery should be done according to the level of spasm of sphincter. In my experience  of anal fissure surgery for the past 15 years,i had no recurrent patient ( Because i do L I S bilaterally) To be reviewed with your reply soon
