Which brand's vitamin D?

2025-11-12 07:25:14
I am planning to take a Vitamin D supplement — which one do you use? Details: I’m planning to start taking a Vitamin D supplement, but there are so many options available. I wanted to know which brand you use and if it has been effective for you. Also, how often do you take it — daily or weekly? Have you noticed any benefits or side effects? Thank you for your suggestions.

Kindly share your investigations report to see if there is Vitamin D3 deficiency. If deficient then can start on Cap UPRISE D3/ TAYO shots 60,000IU once a week anytime during the day for about 8 weeks. Then to repeat the investigations and look for VIT D3 levels, based on the report plan further Additional daily minimum 45 mins of sun expose is compulsory ideally between 10am to 12pm

I would recommend you to check your vitamin D levels first and then if the deficiency is confirmed let's take vitamin D supplements. Because vitamin D can cause renal toxicity. If confirmed deficiency weekly dose of VITAMIN D 60000(Uprise) for 6-8 weeks Or Daily dose of Calcium with vitamin D 3( Shelcal) for around 3 months Can be used

Take Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) — 60,000 IU once weekly for 6–8 weeks after meals, then 1,000–2,000 IU daily for maintenance. It helps energy, bone, and mood. Choose any good brand (e.g., D-Rise, Uprise-D3, or Tayo-60K). Kindly consult via practo. Thank you.

Is deficiency confirmed by test? If so, you can take cholecalciferol tablet 50,000 units weekly for 6 to 8 weeks. Also take fortified cereals,  mushrooms,  curd, cheese, milk, soya, eggs, in your diet.
