Vitamin Deficiency

2026-11-03 10:10:32
My Vitamin D level is 8 and Vitamin B12 is 290. I am experiencing persistent numbness in different parts of my body, particularly my head and legs. I also experience low mood, general weakness, fatigue, and occasional dizziness. These symptoms are affecting my daily routine and overall well-being. I would like to understand whether these vitamin deficiencies could be contributing to my symptoms and what further evaluation or treatment may be required.

Take: 1. Vitamin D3 60,000. Taken one capsule or tablet weekly (often after a main meal containing fats) for 6 to 8 weeks. It comes as 12 capsules and costs ₹300. 2. Vitamin B12. 1 tablet once daily. Nurokind OD. 3. Lastly, take daily timely healthy well balanced meals.

A vitamin D of 8 is quite low and a B12 of 290 is on the lower side, and together these can explain the numbness, low mood, fatigue and dizziness you're describing. This is a very treatable pattern once corrected.
Next Steps
Please see a general physician to start proper vitamin D and B12 correction, since how low your level is affects the dose and how long you'll need it.
Health Tips
Get the numbness checked sooner if it is spreading, affecting your grip or walking, or worsening quickly.
