For the symptomatic vitamin b 12 deficiency,1500 mcg of vitamin B 12 taken daily is absolutely fine. You may have to continue it for long.Check the vitamin b 12 level after a month to compare.

Hello Dear. Your B12 levels indicate that you are having SEVERE VIT B12 DEFICIENCY. This medicine is absolutely fine for your case as it has a 1500mcg of Vit b12 and also b6. As you have already bought the tablets its better to finish off the course for one month first and then recheck your B12 levels after one month.
Next Steps
after one month if you still lie in the Severe deficiency range, you can opt for Vit b12 1000mcg INTRAMUSCULAR INJECTION every week for 3 months.  Also check your BLOOD FOLIC ACID levels, IRON profile.
Health Tips
Include more B12-rich foods if the deficiency is diet-related: Animal sources: Eggs, dairy, poultry, fish (especially salmon, tuna), red meat. Fortified foods: Breakfast cereals, plant-based milk, nutritional yeast. AVOID ALCOHOL IF YOU ARE A CHRONIC ALCOHOLIC

Yes. You can continue with the medication that doctor has prescribed. As diabetic patients  commonly have symptoms of neuropathy, they mentioned them for diabetes. However, this can be used for neurological symptoms associated with B12 deficiency as well.Nothing to worry..
Next Steps
Please continue with medication.
