Urticaria is a type of allergic reaction (excessive immune reaction to minute triggers), we should focus on identifying the triggers, which can be anything like food, contact material, inhalational material, medication, infectious focus,, etc. If we can identify & avoid the triggers we can prevent further episodes of Urticaria. There are many antihistamines and steroid sparing agents available currently, no need to take continuous steroids for long term
