There is a white patch that looks like an ulcer under my upper lip and it is burning and paining. I don't smoke nor do I chew tobacco. What is it actually?

It is called a apthous ulcer. It can affect anyone irrespective of age or gender and not related to use of tobacco product. You should be worried if it doesn’t heal in 7-10 days. Otherwise they heal by themselves in a week’s time. Stress, deficiency of Vit c , b complex may trigger ulcers. A topical anesthetic( you can get one prescribed by a nearby dentist) before food, will reduce the discomfort
