I met with an accident 4 years back and damaged three front teeth on the upper side. Got cap on one tooth and dentist reconstructed another one. The third tooth was loosened from the roots for which the Dr suggested that it will get back to its position on its own. Unfortunately i still have pain in that third tooth and gradually now i notice that it has started turning yellowish inspite of brushing teeth twice a day. Please help.

Hello mam, If there is discoloration of the tooth with the history of trauma it is indicative that the nerve is damaged and the discoloration is not due to poor oral hygiene . The treatment will be root canal treatment and placing a crown over it.

Dear pt, Since you are having pain, and the tooth is turning yellow, it is suggested you get an x ray done . If the gum and bone health is good, it is suggested you go for root canal treatment and then get a tooth colored crown.

The third one tooth is rct treated or not. If it is not rct treated, should go for rct. By rct it may back its own position and pain also resides.
