Hi, black spots and plaque could be because of poor oral hygiene and food lodgement. consult the dentist and get scaling and polishing done. for further evaluation you need to post pics of your problem area

Black spots could be because of the following reasons:- 1- The teeth are getting stained because of consuming coffee , wine, cola etc, smoking also causes stains. But these are all extrinsic stains and they can be removed by Scaling and polishing. 2- Black spots are a sign of tooth decay which develop from snacking on sugary starchy foods in excess .

Hello, black spots and plaque could be because of deposits on your teeth or food lodged in your teeth. Visit a dentist get your scaling and polishing done. Brush twice daily, maintain proper brushing technique, floss regularly and rinse after every meal. Visit dentist every 6 months.

Hello . To begin with if the black spots are on the teeth that can be removed with proper scaling and polishing by a dentist. Sometimes post scaling you will see small open gaps in between the teeth which was occupied earlier by the tartar and plaque and is usually mistaken as black spots. Normally long term tartar turns brown almost black but can be professionally cleaned. Hopefully I have answered your question.

Well...from the description sounds like an aged plaque. And plaque turning black could be because of coloured food substances consumed which gave the colour black to plaque.
