Running nose has nothing to do with this… Observe for 7 days it will gone on its own but still you feel swelling has not gone then go to a dentist and get it checked up clinically.
Next Steps
It will be fine on its own within 7 days

Get xray of tooth. If there is fracture or decay, get rct done. If there is pus discharge, get it drained. Antibiotics along with analgesics has to be taken to relieve the pain and swelling. You can consult through this for further information.

I don't think running nose has anything to do with this. Do visit a local dentist for treatment and physical evaluation.
