But from the preliminary data, I can see there’s a Urinary Tract infection in your friend. Though, the history of chills and rigor does appear like it’s a Proximal Urinary tract infection. Most probably Pyelonephritis or Proximal ureter intection.

From your above mentioned symptoms your friend is probably having combined upper respiratory tract infection with urinary tract infection. Since the duration is 5 days and having muscle pain it may be due to viral cause
