Hi... You are just qualifying the basic level of sleep. Your body and mind can survive with this amount of sleep on a short span of time, but you will soon start seeing it's negative impacts on your appetite, digestion, activity/energy levels, mood, etc. If this is happening for a given reason, like an exam, travel, task, etc. It's fine. But if it continues for more than a week time you may consult a Psychologist. Sleep issues typically arise when our subconscious mind is disturbed by certain thoughts, emotions, fears, etc. We may not be aware of them, but they might be active in our subconscious mind and impacting our sleep, appetite, or general well-being. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) along with Lifestyle Changes may help you recover from your issues.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist.
CBT along with Lifestyle Changes and Interpersonal Guidance and Counselling is required.
