My mother is having sharp pain in the left rib cage/ below not sure where while turning in bed and getting up from bed. She uses her left side to get up. She is very active and does all household work and a month back she lifted a few heavy suitcases here and there. She does not take rest at all and is still very active.But She is facing this for more than a month now. It is not there while walking only extreme when sitting up and getting up from bed on her left side and on very deep breathing. There is no pain in touching only severe pain while she gets up from lying down position.She had taken pain killer and calcium medicine for 10 days on doctor advice. Please advise is this muscle strain? I am extremely worried
