What to Start: Single-Grain Cereals: Begin with iron-fortified rice or oatmeal cereal. Pureed Vegetables: Start with mild vegetables like carrots, sweet potatoes, or peas. Pureed Fruits: Introduce fruits such as apples, pears, or bananas. Protein Foods: Pureed meats, lentils, or beans can be introduced gradually. How to Start: Choose the Right Time: Pick a time when your baby is alert and not too hungry or tired. Start Slow: Begin with a small amount, such as 1-2 teaspoons of pureed food. Introduce One Food at a Time: Wait 3-5 days before introducing a new food to monitor for allergies. Gradual Texture Change: As your baby gets used to solids, gradually thicken the texture. How Many Times a Day: Initial Phase: Start with one solid meal per day. Gradual Increase: Over a few weeks, increase to 2-3 times per day, depending on your baby's appetite and interest. When to Start Water: Timing: You can start offering small amounts of water around 6 months. Quantity: Offer a few sips of water in a cup with meals to help with digestion and hydration.

For infants under 6 months of age, the recommended approach is to start with clear fluids, such as water or diluted juices, two times per day. Home-made foods, especially those recommended for supplementary feeding, are encouraged.
Next Steps
There is no need to add wheat to an infant's diet in the first year. Instead, focus on providing rice water, clear daal (lentil) broth, and fruit-based clear stews. .The introduction of solid foods should emphasize gentle, easily digestible options like the ones mentioned above. This gradual approach helps support the infant's developing digestive system and nutritional needs in the first 6 months.
Health Tips
The key is to prioritize clear, nutrient-dense fluids and homemade pureed foods, while delaying the introduction of wheat and other potentially harder-to-digest solid foods until after the first year of life.

Healthy morning, Offer you infant a small amount of soft food 2-3 times per day. As he / she gets better at eating, slowly makes the food thicker and lumpier. You give 1. Fortified infant cereals 2. Ground meat poultry or fish 3. Strained or mashed vegetables and fruits 4. Sticky rice or mashed potatoes. Do not offer more than 5-6 fluids ounces/ day and only with snack or meals.
