Is a diet of raw fruits and vegetables (and milk), safe and recommended for people with type 2 diabetes? If yes, what are the safe vegetables and fruits? What should be the additional supplements to be taken?

Fruits and vegetables are rich in essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fibre. They are safe and recommended for people suffering from Type 2 diabetes as well. But make sure about the following restrictions : Fruits allowed : Apple ,Pear , Peaches, papaya, Guava, jamun, melons, oranges (100-200g/day) Fruits  to be taken in moderation : Mango, Banana, Custard apple, cheeku , dates, grapes, figs, leechi , sugarcane. Vegetables allowed : light veg like ghia, tori, tinda, parwal, ladyfinger, Tomatoes, cauliflower, broccoli,  drumsticks Vegetables to be taken in moderation : potato , sweet potato , raw banana, arbi , jackfruit. Use Double toned or toned milk and milk products as they are low in saturated fat and cholesterol.

Yes can hv all green vegetables  fruits (except banana n mango ) n milk .. can hv vegetables  ...palak paneer ..cauliflower..capsicum..beans  ghiya .. except  potato n sweet potato..can hv anything  ..bt tc about quantity...hv  food in frequency bt less ..try to control   sugar level with food ..only ...in fruits ...can add ..muskmelon  watermelon  bt less ...orange papaya apple ..jamun..kiwi ..avocado..strawberry..all can hv bt not much quantity  at 1 time ....
