Rabies exposure
Hi Doctors
A stray dog passed by me from my back and I saw, though I was in a full sleeve pant and had not suspected anything that day but after a day I suspect there is a little superficial scratch on my leg without bleeding. I have completed 5 shots 3 years back and one booster dose as well 7 months back can I go for one booster dose this time as well is it safe, or do 2 shots or full course.
I have also attached the scratch i observed.
Please suggest...

So with the vaccination history you have shared and the depth of the wound as seen, you dont have to get a booster dose.
Any animal bite or scratch may get infected. So kindly maintain proper hygiene and observe the area for any colour changes / swelling / Pus or watery discharge. If any of such changes occur, please visit a nearby hospital.
