Your symptoms can be part of personality or anxiety or mood disorder. Consulting a psychiatrist would help. Therapy can be tried initially and if if doesn’t work out medications as next choice. Most with your set of symptoms eventually recover. Do consult an astute psychiatrist. Good luck

When we are with people we supress all the stressors. But when we are alone then things become overwhelming. It's very common to get stuck in the loop because of the exams. Very understandable. Right now understanding what's happening with your thoughts, can help you manage the thoughts better. As your thoughts would get streamlined, you will be able to study better. Although if your sleep and appetite are also getting affected then maybe we can start medications too. Hi, thank you for sharing. It sounds like your mind gets stuck in overthinking, especially when you’re alone. Instead of focusing on the present, it keeps pulling you into past regrets and “what if” scenarios, which makes studying difficult. The good thing is that this pattern can be changed with practice. For now, don’t wait until you “feel like” studying. Set a timer for just 20–25 minutes, and whenever your mind drifts into overthinking, gently bring your attention back to the page without judging yourself. If these thought loops continue to interfere with your daily life, working with a psychologist can help you learn techniques to manage them effectively. Consulting a Psychiatrist would be a good first step to see if this is pathological, or something which would benefit from counselling.
