The feelings you’re experiencing—mood swings, crying, and uncertainty—could be signs of stress or even mild depression, especially given the challenging circumstances you’ve faced over the past few years. However, these emotions don’t define you, and with the right steps, you can regain clarity and balance.
Next Steps
Reflect & Prioritize: Take time to reflect on what’s troubling you most and what matters to you right now (e.g., career, personal growth, or relationships). Seek Professional Guidance: Consider consulting a mental health professional to gain clarity and receive the support you deserve. It’s okay to ask for help—it’s a sign of strength. Small Actionable Goals: Start with small, manageable goals to rebuild a sense of accomplishment and direction, whether it’s updating your resume, exploring a hobby, or setting daily routines.
Health Tips
Practice Self-Care: Regular exercise, a balanced diet, and mindfulness techniques like meditation can help stabilize mood swings. Stay Connected: Spend time with loved ones or supportive friends who can uplift your spirits. Avoid Self-Blame: Be kind to yourself. The past few years have been challenging for many, and it’s okay to feel a little lost—it’s part of the journey.

You have been through a lot of ups & downs after you finished your degree. It must be really overwhelming for you to stay at home  for further studies with no contact with the outside world resulting in almost no social life. Then you also faced family issues starting with dealing with your mom's health. You have not got any time or a breather to process all these non stop changes in your life. I know how hard it must be for you as you feel confused and don't know what you want.
Next Steps
I suggest going for counseling/ therapy for getting clarity about how you want your life to be.

It sounds like you’ve been through many ups and downs over the past few years, and it's natural to feel this way after facing so many changes and uncertainties. Let’s try to understand what might be going on. Your mood swings and feelings of being lost could be tied to a mix of factors—stress, lack of routine, or even a sense of not having direction after all these disruptions. Staying at home and feeling stuck without progress can make these feelings stronger. First, recognize that it’s okay to feel overwhelmed. You’ve had to adapt to many things—your studies, responsibilities at home, and now being uncertain about the future. These transitions take a toll on anyone. To move forward, start with small, manageable steps. Build a simple routine that gives structure to your day. It doesn’t have to be perfect—just something that helps you feel active, like dedicating time to hobbies, skill-building, or even exploring job opportunities. Marriage proposals can bring added pressure but try to approach this at your own pace. It’s okay to take time to understand your feelings about it and to prioritize your well-being before making any major decisions. Lastly, mood swings and frequent crying can sometimes be signs of stress or depression, especially when they affect daily life. If this feels like more than you can handle, reaching out to a counsellor or therapist could help you sort through your emotions and find clarity. You’re not alone in this; taking small, thoughtful steps can help you feel more in control of your situation.

Hi, It sounds like you've been through a challenging period, facing a series of significant life changes and stressors that have understandably impacted your emotional well-being. Transitioning from college to the uncertainties brought on by the pandemic, coupled with family responsibilities and career changes, can lead to feelings of confusion, anxiety, and sadness. Your mood swings and emotional fluctuations may suggest that you are experiencing stress or possibly depression, but only a mental health professional can provide an accurate diagnosis. It's important to prioritize your mental health during this time. Consider reaching out to a therapist or counselor who can help you process your feelings, explore your thoughts about your future, and develop coping strategies. Additionally, try to engage in activities that bring you joy or relaxation, maintain social connections, and establish a routine to create a sense of stability in your life. Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, and you don't have to navigate this alone.

Root cause of the mood swings has to be figured out. Life gives both happiness and sadness....it's a phase which is temporary. Your problem is negative overthinking it may lead to depression. Create a daily routine, an easy one and try sticking to it. So next time you are negative or overthinking then sticking to your daily routine will give positive direction to your life and thoughts. I suggest to study a crash course to divert yourself from this baggages.
