Lower front teeth hitting back of upper

2018-08-03 02:34:52
My lower front teeth are hitting the back of my upper front teeth when I close my mouth. I also hear clicking sounds. Are these two related? Also, I have been suggested to wear braces so that the upper teeth can be moved slightly outwards and the lower teeth can be moved slightly inside to eliminate the hitting. Is this the correct approach?

Hi sir...   Yes Both are related only... hitting of your lower teeth is due to reduced overjet or excessive overbite .. OVERJET is nothing but the horizotal relationship of upper and lower teeth... OVERBITE is nothing but the  vertical relationship of upper and lower teeth...
Next Steps
orthodontic management will  definitely eliminate this problem
Health Tips
kindly visit nearby dentist for furthur consultation...If you leave this condition untreated then the clicking sound may get worsen and it may leads to permanent Temperomandibular joint problem
