Left Knee and lower back problem

I feel like there's a problem in my left knee. There's a numbing sensation in my lower back and buttocks, at the same time my knee feels like something is dislocated in it but I don't feel any pain. It has been happening to me for a while now. It occur for a few days...then go away itself..then comes again. Pls guide.

Consult orthopaedic doctor urgently. You might need MRI scan. It might be compression of nerve roots by disc or cauda equina.
