I am suffering from fissure from last 4 months with sentinel tag. I have taken all kinds of medicine homeopath, allopath and ayurveda, but it reoccurs. Ayurvedic doctor suggested to have kshar karma where kshar will be applied to the wound. Is it safe to go ahead with it?

Ideally Kshar Karma for a wound is not indicated unless it is a dushta vran or a non healing wound which gets frequently infected and forms pus. A proper examination of the fissure is needed, maybe dilatation removal of external tag and ropan treatment with Jatyadi Taila would help. But see a surgeon
