TLC is high. Neutrophils are more than normal. Platelet count is high. ESR is high. TLC, ESR and high Neutrophils is suggestive of acute infection. Clinical examination will point towards the organ which can be  affected by this infection. Then further investigations can be done. High Platelet count points towards bone marrow problem. But it is worthwhile repeating platelet count after a gap of 1-2 weeks before we go towards bone marrow.
