High platelet and ESR count
I had to undergo pre employment medical check up and blood test showed a platelet count of 456000 per microlitre and ESR of 34 mm/ hr... This is higher than normal.. I have no other symptoms or problems..pretty healthy overall... why are these levels high? Anything to worry about?

The platelet count is normal. ESR may be elevated due to multiple reasons, some which are harmless. Sending a Hemoglobin and a Urine Routine may be of some diagnostic help. For the most part of it, these results may be left alone.
