High platelet and ESR count
I had to undergo pre employment medical check up and blood test showed a platelet count of 456000 per microlitre and ESR of 34 mm/ hr... This is higher than normal.. I have no other symptoms or problems..pretty healthy overall... why are these levels high? Anything to worry about? I am a female age 27, weight 60, height 5 feet

The platelet count is normal. ESR may be elevated due to multiple reasons, some which are harmless. Sending a Hemoglobin and a Urine Routine may be of some diagnostic help. For the most part of it, these results may be left alone.
