If you have unexplained body aches at your age of 40yrs:
Worth getting- Vitamin D levels checked and if low, take Vitamin D supplement
If along with body aches, if your fingers/wrists/elbows become swollen and or painful- get further blood tests ( for- Rheumatoid factor, ANA, CRP, anti-CCP, Immunoglobulins) and see a Rheumatologist.

ESR alone is a non specific finding...it increase in many conditions like infections, pregnancy..many other diseases..

Detailed history is required. ESR alone is very non specific. Can increase in so many conditions and even with wrong lab techniques. So ESR with suspicion of some disease is of value only

ESR is increased in number of health conditions like infections, Autoimmune diseases, Tumors , pregnancy, Menstruation and the list goes on. It is not specific to a particular condition or disease.
It is interpreted along with other tests like CRP, Autoimmune profile, basic blood panel etc, NOT to forget about your symptoms and clinical features.
Given you have ESR of 15. It is not significantly elevated.
