Coconut water and ors is good for her. Better to avoid Glucose D. Feel free to connect to discuss further treatment plans.

I need to know her medications Because if your mother is using ARB s for controlling bp - coconut water can cause an increase in potassium.. So detailed history is needed

It's great to know that your mother is managing her BP well with medication.  It is reassuring. With the current heat wave- coconut water, diluted chaas, homemade( not bottled) nimbu pani, ORas sachet diluted in 1L water are good for hydration and maintain electrolyte balance. Frankly for any age, I'm not a big fan of high sugar intake....let alone white processed sugar. So best avoided please.

Coconut water is a good choice — it's naturally hydrating with good electrolytes, and the potassium in it is actually beneficial for blood pressure. One glass a day is fine. However, I'd avoid giving Glucose D regularly. Since your mother is on oral steroids, her blood sugar may already be at risk, and Glucose D is essentially concentrated sugar which can spike glucose levels. For summer hydration, plain water, coconut water, or a low-sugar ORS is much better than Glucose D. Make sure she's drinking adequate water through the day and not waiting until she feels very thirsty.
