This usually happens, when some amount of growth of your lower jaw is still remaining. And when the lower jaw is growing forward, your lower won’t have enough space to go forward since It is restricted by your upper front teeth. In such scenario, It will try to push your upper front teeth more forward and create gaps over a period of time. In some cases, you may also notice your lower teeth getting placed irregularly either because of late lower jaw growth or your lower wisdom tooth eruption trying to push other teeth ahead of it. So, depending on your gaps, if it is less you would be adviced either for a removable brace or a tooth coloured build up. But, if the gaps are more you need to get braces/ clip on. Since, tooth build up would make your teeth look bigger than the actual size of the tooth. In braces if you are concerned about your looks, you can either go for invisible braces ( tooth coloured which blend with your teeth), invisible aligners ( series of removable mouth guards which fit closely on to your teeth) or lingual braces ( glued on to back of your teeth). If you are fine with braces being visible, you can go for metal braces. Hope, this was informative enough.
