A/c to your query - You are experiencing Health Anxiety (or Carcinophobia), a condition where there is an overwhelming fear of perceiving even normal bodily symptoms as a serious illness like cancer. The main cause of this can be mental stress, excessive concern about health, and a fear stemming from past habits (such as quitting smoking 11 months ago), even though all their medical tests (X-Ray, CT Scan, USG) have come back completely normal."

Health Tips
1. Recognize your triggers, and whenever thoughts of cancer or a serious illness come to mind, remind yourself that your reports (X-Ray, CT Scan, USG) are completely normal. 2. Completely avoid repeatedly googling illnesses and their symptoms on the internet or social media, as this increases anxiety even more. 3. To reduce stress, regularly practice deep breathing exercises, yoga, and meditation, and have open conversations with your doctor or counselor.

You have started working on your health in a positive way like quitting the smoking and doing the regular exercise. And despite that everything is normal so there’s nothing to worry about. First of all, congratulations on quitting smoking 11 months ago. Making that choice is one of the most powerful and positive steps you can take for your health and longevity. It is actually very common for individuals who have successfully quit smoking to experience a delayed wave of health anxiety or a persistent fear of lung cancer. When your clinical test findings are completely normal, this fear is a manifestation of health anxiety rather than an active physical disease. Chronic worry can cause real, physical symptoms—like chest tightness, shallow breathing, or a persistent awareness of your lungs—which can mistakenly be misinterpreted as signs of illness, creating a distressing feedback loop.
Next Steps
Homeopathy is a holistic system of medicine, meaning it treats the individual as a whole rather than focusing solely on physical pathology. Because practitioners look at the connection between the mind and the body, homeopathy offers remedies specifically selected to soothe deep-seated fears and health-related anxiety. Kindly consult online or homeopath near you.
