Facing sleeping issue

My mother is trying to sleep in night but she cannot , even she has no stress , can sleeping pills regularly taking is good for overall health or not. Can you please suggest about this doctor

In elderly people, for sleep disturbance, a thorough sleep evaluation must be done by a psychiatrist, and medications that normalize sleep patterns must be given rather than sleeping pills like benzodiazepines, which will be harmful in the long run.
