Early morning around 6 to 7 am..upon waking warm lemon water without
sugar or honey or overnight soaked almonds, walnuts, figs etc.. or green tea or cinnamon tea or black tea or black coffee and all these without sugar or honey or jaggery oy any Artificial sweetners...followed by a 30 to 45 mins brisk walk ...
Breakfast between 8 to 9 am: can have complex carbs like cereal pulse combination in very limited quantities and moderate amounts of protein and low fat options...
can consume fermented foods and germinated seeds for breakfast or mid morning..
Mid morning : 10:30 to 11:30 am: millets based items such as ragi laddo, or ragi malt or ragi buttermilk , sprouts, seeds, slim milk , nuts of almonds, walnuts, pista in very limited nos..OR FRUIT SALAD OR VEGETABLE SALAD..
Lunch : 12:30 to 1:30pm: Brown rice cooked not more than 300 g and not less than 100 g for diabetics especially, 1 cup any variety whole dal unpolished with dark leafy green vegetable mixed, 1 to 2 cups curry / sabji with rasam with vegetables and buttermilk..
can use all vegetables especially Gourd vegetables and except roots and tubers..
Evening Snacks 4 to 5 pm: slim milk or coffee or tea without sugar or honey or jaggery or only one whole fruit...
Dinner: 7 to 8pm: whole broken wheat upma with lots of seasonal vegetables or 2 small to medium sized roti with sabji plus buttermilk..
No curd at night...
