I am studying for upsc exam..sometimes I am so much worried about my exam that I am not able to sleep...feel tensed

Racing thoughts, worry and anxiety can often lead to sleep difficulties. Worrying usually involves involves thoughts about the future. For example, will I be able to clear, will I get the prep done on time; I am going to fail and so on. The answers to these questions is not possible until the event happens however the worry tends to interfere with our functioning.

It is important to remember that not all thoughts are true or we do not need to buy into them if they are not helpful and are interfering with our task. Acknowledge the thought and feelings and bring your attention back to the present, the work at hand. As you start acting your worry will also subside.
