Can we have home made curd and Lassi in winter and if yes, then when should we avoid it. Can we give it to babies also.

Hi Its safe and healthy for babies but avoid giving during late hour's.. Its help in proper digestion..

Yes, home made curd is good for health. Can have in winter season also but with seasoning... You can feed baby between 10 to 4.30pm

Gud afternoon,curd is a good probiotic u can use by keeping at normal room temperature if taking raw or in cooked form like making dahi kadhi or dahi vindi etc but in moderate amounts.

Yes curd specially home set is an elixir of all time, you can have it any time throughout the year, but yes since it's an intrinsic cold food that s why people avoid in winter, but if it is kept at room temperature or just left it covered in sunlight it gets warmed up and that can be had. For babies it should be mixed with honey or jaggery and at room temperature.

Hi, Curd is a source of Protein and minerals. It is a great source of probiotics and should be had a cup daily. In winter you can have freshly set curd and not refrigerate it.

Yes home made fresh curds  lassi can be had at any season .Babies above 7 months can be given curds,lassi . People who are overweight / diabetic / skin diseases should avoid curds and lassi at night.,can have buttermilk.
