Need a detailed history taking and further assessment and blood investigations. Doing anything based on CRP only will be not useful.

A CRP level of 68 mg/L is significantly elevated and indicates a strong inflammatory response or infection in your body. Since you have been suffering for 2 months and a course of Monocef (Ceftriaxone) did not resolve the issue, it suggests that the underlying cause is either not bacterial or the bacteria is resistant to that specific antibiotic. Persistent fever with high CRP, hypertension (BP 150), and extreme weakness requires a detailed systemic evaluation to rule out chronic infections
Health Tips
Do not take any more random antibiotics as they can mask the symptoms and make diagnosis harder. You need a comprehensive workup including a CBC with ESR, Urine Culture, Chest X-ray, and possibly a Whole Abdomen Ultrasound. The feeling of cold hands and legs (vasoconstriction) along with high BP during fever episodes is your body's way of responding to the internal stress. Maintain a temperature log and see an Internal Medicine specialist immediately."

Hello. I have reviewed your case details. A fever and elevated CRP persisting for two months despite antibiotic treatment (Monocef) indicates that the underlying cause has not yet been identified. Combined with your high blood pressure and extreme weakness, we need to take a more comprehensive diagnostic approach. To help me understand the situation better, please follow these steps: 1. Essential Baseline Tests If you haven't done these recently, please share the reports for: Complete Blood Count (CBC) with Peripheral Smear: To check for specific types of infection or anemia. Widal Test & Typhidot: To rule out persistent enteric fever. Chest X-Ray: To check for any chronic lung involvement. Urinalysis (Urine Routine/Culture): To rule out an asymptomatic urinary tract infection. 2. Specialized Screening Given the duration of your symptoms, we must look for other causes: Echocardiogram (Echo): To ensure the fever is not affecting your heart valves, especially given your high BP and weakness. Hormonal/Metabolic Check: Since your BP is consistently high, we should check your Thyroid Profile (TSH) and Kidney Function Test (KFT). 3. Vital Monitoring Fever Diary: Record your temperature twice daily. Is the fever higher in the evenings? Blood Pressure: Check your BP daily at the same time and keep a log. 4. Immediate Advice Stop Self-Medication: Do not take further antibiotics like Monocef without a confirmed culture report, as this can lead to resistance and mask the actual diagnosis. Hydration: Ensure you are drinking at least 2–3 liters of water daily to help with the weakness and "cold" feeling in your limbs. Next Steps: Please upload all previous blood reports and your medication history. This will help me narrow down if we need to investigate for autoimmune issues or specific chronic infections.

The two‑month history of fever and weakness alone is not enough to make a diagnosis and needs more detail like  fever pattern, weight loss, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, cough, urinary symptoms, joint/muscle pain, rash, enlarged lymph nodes, and any exposure or travel. You should also provide list of all medicines taken in the last 2 months except Monocef (ceftriaxone). If available, share blood test reports beyond CRP, such as CBC, ESR, LFT/RFT, and any TB/typhoid/infection work‑up, so that possible causes (like TB, typhoid, chronic infection, autoimmune disease, or malignancy) can be narrowed down and appropriate next steps suggested.
Next Steps
You can book a video consultation to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

Need more history and reports also.crp is not a major problem ,its raised in every chronic infection and inflammation. Better if you visit nearby hospital and consult with general physician for physical examination and evaluation.

Aapke symptoms (2 months se fever on-off + high CRP + extreme weakness + BP high) ko lightly nahi lena chahiye. CRP high hona indicate karta hai ki body me ongoing inflammation/infection chal raha hai, lekin sirf antibiotic (Monocef) lene se bina proper diagnosis ke problem solve nahi hoti. Possible causes me: - Chronic infection (e.g. TB, hidden infection focus) - Autoimmune/inflammatory condition - Less commonly other systemic causes Is stage par proper detailed evaluation zaroori hai, jaise:

Hi, fever for 2 months with high CRP, weakness and BP elevation needs urgent proper medical evaluation. CRP only shows inflammation it does not identify the cause, and repeated antibiotics/injections without diagnosis may not help.
Health Tips
Please book a video consultation with me with all reports for detailed guidance.
