My son (2 year 11months) is having constipation from last few days. Is there any syrup or stool softener available for kids of this small age? Thank you.

Consider starting an osmotic stool softener such as Polyethylene Glycol (PEG 3350) or Lactulose syrup. These are safe, non-habit-forming options for this age group that work by drawing water into the stool to make it easier to pass. Please confirm the child's approximate weight so a precise dosage can be provided. Encourage a relaxed, regular toilet routine (e.g., 10 minutes after breakfast or dinner). Ensure his feet are supported on a small stool if using a standard toilet to make straining unnecessary.
Next Steps
Encourage plenty of water throughout the day. Introduce high-fiber fruits (like prunes, pears, or papaya) and reduce excessive consumption of cow's milk or processed foods, which can sometimes exacerbate constipation.
Health Tips
Please seek immediate in-person medical attention of a paediatrician if your son develops severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, fever, or blood in his stool.

Definitely increase water intake and giving fruits and veggies. That will help set a routine of passing stools daily.  For this acute discomfort you may try glycerine anal suppository, which needs to be inserted softly and wait for about 30 mins. Let the child sip some luke warm water.  In case this doesn't help, then it's time to get a Paediatrician's opinion.
